I've taken a nice place not far from PCC in SW Portland, my new residence until at least Dec-Jan. The 170-mile roundtrip drive three times a week from Redneck Beach is too much for me. Health problems are tied to either driving or stress, I reckon. So I'm gonna eliminate driving for a while.
The news is that most of my paints are already packed for the move, and here it is Sattiday morning and I need about four drops of one of the packed paints. The work area has been halved, and one half of that is for school. So I'm down to only a handful of paintings at a time. The new place is smaller, so this I fear is my painting status the next few months. Diminished.
That said, diminished is not finished. It's been almost 2 years here, and with some serious turmoil occasionally rearing its head, it's been a great time for me all the way round. Can you believe it, I'm in college taking architecture design and drafting classes. Whoda thunk.
See ya next month or so with new paintings. Sigh. I must pack.
